The National Day Cup presents no shortage of early speed with up to five runners likely to be either forcing the speed or at least racing close. Aashiq made all to win a pair of Group 3 races at this course and distance last term and still commands respect in career-best form. However, we can expect the degree of likely early pressure to favour horses swooping from further back, such as Destined For Glory, runner-up in this race a year ago, and Supreme Win with Admiration having enough class to also hang on for a share of the prize.
